For one of our modules we had to create our manifesto. In my case, I started to reflect on the fact that designers (and other professions also) nowadays need to have many skills in order to not only be better, but more important to be ahead of the competition. We need to be illustrators, typographers, web developers, animators, photographers and who knows what else. However, we make mistakes, we are afraid, we forget to enjoy life, we forget that we are humans. That’s why I created a Pocket Guide to Being a Designer Human (or both), where I compile the thoughts and ideas I’ve had on how to cope with life. The guide is all white so the person who has it can write down their own thoughts and personalize it.
